This is exciting. I am totally ripping this blogging idea off of my best friend's cousin-in-law, but it's all been done before, right?
Today is a big day. Not only is it Wednesday, officially the day of miracles, but also the day before our Nini comes to see us.
This is our Nini:
Today is also the first day that our darling little Esmee fell asleep in her crib for her morning nap! It wasn't entirely unaided. I'd like to give a shout-out to Glow Worm who faithfully played lullabies and glowed while she fell asleep.
Matt is doing concrete work today. I'm pretty tired. Esmee and Brody both woke up at 5 this morning. They are both asleep now, but I've had a cup of coffee and showered so I'm wide awake.
The builder is putting our sidewalk in today. This is big news. Living in a neighbourhood under development is full of excitement. You get to wait for sod, sidewalk, a driveway. I like watching the new houses go up. Some of the siding and brick choices are awful. Did you know they make a grey brick with pink undertones? As much I dislike the the look, it sure beats living in a subdivision where all the houses are beidge, beidge, beidge.
Code Pink! The construction noise has woken Esmee up. That's all for now.
